Flint Road 33, Swifterbant

 

OIn July 1960, the remains of a British bomber were found on the plots around this pole. The plane is believed to have been airborneexploded. The identity of the device could not be determined. The remains of a crew member were also found. These were buried as 'Known unto God' in the Jonkerbos cemetery in Nijmegen.
