Poetry contest

Since 2024, the Ichthus College in Dronten has been holding a poetry competition.

Students will receive a guest lesson from a veteran and information about commemoration in Dronten. They will then write a poem that fits the annual theme of the National Committee for 4 and 5 May. Students from the upper grades will select ten poems and a jury will choose the winning poem. The winning poem will be recited on 4 May during the commemoration on the square.
